Moving DB table instance

Hi All

 

If we have altered a DB table in dev env and we then move the DB table as part of the package to an higher enviornment, will pega truncate the existing table and recreate an empty table?

Hello,

Assuming that altering a DB table means adding a new column or deleting any existing column. 

Pega will not truncate the existing table entries, instead it will add new column with values as 0.

You need to explicitly run the truncate query to clear the existing data.
