Deleting History Table Instances through the Data type is not working.

Hello Everyone, 

We are trying to Delete some instances from history table through the data type which is created for History table.

Steps followed to delete

1. import records to the data type history-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX table

2. selected purpose as Delete

3. mapped the key columns from sheet to delete

3. On clicking submit/finish records are not getting deleted (0 records deleted came on screen)

Can anyone of you suggest a solution on the above issue. This is happening only for History table. rest of the data tables are working fine for us.
