Monitor Robot Health via API
Hi all,
Our client wants to monitor the health of each robot in their own analytics application to create real-time dashboards showing which robots are active and which are working...
I would like to know if there is a core Robot Manager API that could be used to obtain this data in real time.
Or would the solution be to create something customized within the automation to periodically send a JSON directly to their application?

Robot Manager provides different dashboards for real-time, near real-time, and general reporting. These can easily be extended to match the client's needs.
If you or the client see any gaps that you think we should cover, I'd be more than happy to discuss with you and try to address these or include in a future release if we determine it will add value.
To answer your question. No, we don't have a specific API that you can call to query the Robot Manager data. You could create a custom API to do the same quite easily.

Yes, I agree with you, Robot Manager already provides several reports that make things easier. However, the Client wants to unify the view of the Robots with the Control Panel they already have, they use Grafana, and they would also like to create alerts in case they identify robot inactivity, whether due to the automatic Windows security restart routine or some other problem.
This way, they wanted to see in real time which robots are active, which have stopped responding, which are working... and depending on whether they identify that a Robot instance has become inactive, trigger an alert to the 1st level of support. Got it?
That's why I thought of inserting a REST linked to a Timer within the automation so that every 5 minutes it triggers a JSON with the Robot data to simulate a "KeepAlive" so that they can monitor it, but this only if there is no PEGA core API that already does this.

@Jonathan Pereira , Robot Manager already monitors the robots with a heartbeat triggering alert when this is not detected. The alerts can be extended to include a call to the required REST service in Grafana.
