Minor version increment/skimming? what does Pega suggest on skimming?

Hi Team,

we are almost done with versions under one minor version, can we go for next minor version or do we need to skim to next major version? what does Pega suggest on skimming?

Thanks for your reference, I know about the process of skimming. I am looking more of a Pega guidelines when to do skimming of Minor version?
