Migrating ADM and PAD models from 7.3.1 to 8.7.1

We are upgrading the application from 7.31 on-premise to 8.7.1 on-premise, need information on migration of ADM and PAD models along with learning/historical data which the models use for learning. We are planning to change the class of ADM and PAD models in 8.7 so how can we achieve this without compromising the model performance?

Hi @SukantK9,

For PAD models you can create the new PAD rules in your new class and simply add the PMML model (or otherwise) to the rule.

As for ADM there is no process to migrate learning from one rule to another when the class or name changes. If it is not possible to keep the same class, then new models will have to be generated. However, due to the nature of adaptive models they should converge and provide relevant results fairly quickly.
