Master Detail of Grid With Data Page as Source
Hi All,
I need a clarity on the below scenario.
I have a grid with D_Page (Read Only) as a source and have Master Detail Enabled.
So, on click of a row section should be embedded some where. But this is not happening because "ProcessAction" activity is failing . Reason being Obj-Open-By-Handle is failing cause pzInsKey is not getting passed. Meaning [D_Page context not there]
Where as if i have the D_Page as editable Primary context of that row [ D_Page.pxResults(1) ] is available .
So my concern is the D_Page has to be editable ? Or the issue(Context is not available) is because of something else .

Hello Sarath,
I can't answer your question, but if I were investigating this, I'd start by tracing it as read only and again as editable to understand at what point the behavior changes. If you know why the system writes to the page (assuming that it actually does and there isn't some logic fork based purely on the read only status), then you can work backwards to figure out how to avoid it in the context that you need.
