Masking Production URL
Hi all,
We are required to mask the URL in order for the production link to not be exposed to external consumers. Based on this post, this should be done in the application server level. If so, how can we implement this? Is this something that application server support can change easily? And what are the requirements needed from us?

We don't have any approved solution in Pega to mask the application URL's .

Hi,
The masking of the URL is not an approved solution in Pega and is not Cloud ready hence it can not be set ( to make all URL's work behind the domain name). However, we can have a custom DNS enabled to have the client URL. Please refer the PDN article mentioned below .

Thank you all for the response.
It says on the article that the whole application will be in the new custom domain name when we ask the support portal to apply this solution. Would it be possible to only implement this into one link, such as survey link?

Hi,
It is possible to do it but it will depend on your architecture and other certificate.
The usual process is modifying the index.html, all these you can check on web. But depending whether you are using pega cloud or you on premise, do discuss with your team before doing it. I have already given you pega cloud stand on the same.
