Mandatory Validation to be triggered on click of customized button
Hi Team,
I have a requirement, where on click of button the required field (mandatory) validations to be triggered.
I have tried one approach by adding run script "doSaveAndContinue". During the very first time, mandatory validations are not getting popped-up. If we refresh the browser and tries to click on the button, then mandatory validations gets triggered.
Can you please help me with any of the approaches to sort this issue?

You can add an action event on click to refresh this section and can use an activity/data transform to write the logic to validate the field.
Alternatively if you are looking for client side validation on click of the custom button then you can define the below function in the custom section and refer the function in your main section on click of the button using run script.
enableValidation() { pega.u.d.bClientValid = true; }

You can invoke an Activity with a click of the button and use Obj-Vaidate to validate the fields (see the attached screenshot).
