Make User Cannot Create a Case before Finishing/Saving/Close the Work Assignment ???

Scenario :

When creating case on user harness interface, I made a menu navigation to pick which case will be create.


However, after click the menu and create the case(ex: Case A), if user accidentally click the same menu again, it will create a same new case and we don't want this.


How to make user cannot create a case before finishing/saving/close the work assignment if the user click the menu to start new case while the work still going on?

FYI : I used Pega 7.2.1

Hello,

You can disable the menu item conditionally​, based upon the presense of an active thread of that work object type. For example if a instance of WorkObject type A is already opened then disable this menu item.
