Make Report definition Editable Source
Hi All, If we have require that state we are using on UI section (control, table) source as report definition, suppose at UI level user can get 10 record from report so user once updated any data it should be reflect on report definition directly without any intermediate rule, not acceptable to use Datapage as source on UI level only report definition... any idea about this? how we can achieve it ??!!

Hi @MohamedN16604945: Do you have a section defined with a table configured as Report definition as source? If so, it will reload the data from DB whenever the screen is loaded.

Hi @ArulDevan Yes we have table, but if we have checkbox on table, and for first record value that is coming from RD is true, user may change this value from true to false so once this transaction occured it should be reflected on RD

Hi @MohamedN16604945: Can you please help to clarify what do you mean by reflected on RD? Do you want to save the record back to the SOW when user do the change?

Hi @MohamedN16604945: I don't see a direct option to do this. Definitely you need to create additional rules.
Can you check this to understand if it helps to solve your scenario?
Alternatively, you may choose to use savable data pages. Or you need to define your own actions on your checkbox.
Please validate your use case to check if the data can be saved after the form is submitted.

@ArulDevan okay, thanks for your responses, will try by creating intermediate rule to manipulate the data to RD
