Long value does not populated in exposed column
Hi,
I got ORA-01461 error when I entered long value (more than 4000 bytes) for exposed column A that data type is VARCHAR2 (4000 byte).
And I also fine related article in PDN (https://pdn.pega.com/support-articles/bind-long-value-only-insert-long-column-exception).
But for some column, like pymemo of PC_LINK_ATTACHMENT, I can enter long value (more than column defined byte) when I attached long name file, because PRPC cutoff the value to maximum data size of the column.
Is there any definition in PRPC to cutoff long value before DB commit?
What is the difference between above 2 tables?
Thanks in Advance
