Hi Everyone,
Fairly new to this space, hopefully this will be a fairly simple answer.
We're having intermittent issues where the project content within %LocalAppData%\OpenSpan\8.0\Projects is not being refreshed correctly.
The projects are being refreshed from a central network location to the users local drive, then run. The official answer so far has been it's a known bug, but I'd love to know if anyone else has had a similar issue and what they were able to do to resolve it?
I was thinking possibly a setting within the Runtime Configuration XML - but nothing jumps out.
Any help or direction would really be appreciated.

It's usually encouraged to have the deployment run locally, not from anywhere remote. Try setting the deployment somewhere on the C: drive and running it a few times to see if the issue recreates.

Thanks grona. To clarify, we use the "Pega Runtime Robotics" to open the central network location of the deployment package. Its process is to then unpack to the local folder. We're getting issues where intermittently the unpack is not working correctly - so older versions of the automation are still being used, even though the user has selected the new deployment package.

A quick and dirty fix would be to write a batch script to delete the "Projects" folder which will force the project to unpackage the contents.
I would incorporate it into a shortcut or have the batch file delete the contents of the folder then startup runtime.
