Linux Lite VM with Pega 8.3??

Is there a Linux Lite VM available with Pega 8.3 installed?

Just like the 7.3.1 LLVM, you download the 8.3.1 LLVM from the LSA course, in this case the newer 8.3 Lead System Architect course.

Hi Lee,
I tried using the LLVM present in the course. I use a Macbook, with 8GB of RAM, so I allocated 5.5 GB of RAM to the VM, and used Bridged Adapter Network Type.
After I start the VM, the localhost does not start up. Is there any additional modifications I am required to do in the settings to run the 8.3.1 instance ?

- Since your MAC has 8 GB - and you allocated 5.5 GB to VM, your host may be starved of memory.
- Your MAC OS now will have only - 2.5GB
- Try giving 4GB to VM [reduce from 5.5 GM].
- Verify how many CPU, you have on VM as well.
I am running the Pega Linux Lite VM 8.3.1 with 2 CPU , 4 GM RAM setting , seems to be working fine.
Although, i am running on Macbook pro - quad core, 16GB RAM config.

8.3 does take more memory due to cassandra and kafka jvms in addition to tomcat.

Start up time will take longer initially.
Have you looked at /opt/tomcat/logs/catalina.out and opt/tomcat/work/Catalina/localhost/prweb/PegaRULES.log ?

Hi Lee,
After starting and re-starting the server 2-3 times, I can see the localhost is starting up. However, it takes 15-20 minutes for the instance to start up, everytime I start the VM. Is this supposed to be normal behaviour for this VM ?
I have attached the catalina.out and the Pega logs in this post for your reference.

Can someone please point out the link to download LLVM 8.3? I have checked LSA course, somehow I didn't see any option to download it.
