Kernel error - i686 detected vs x86-64 detected

Hello

Starting the vm, the console displays black with below error message:

This kernel requires an x86-64 CPU, but only detected an i686 CPU. Unable to boot - please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU.

My Lenovo is a 64 one 2 years old so I do not understand the technical limitation triggering the message here.

Please assist.

Primero vas a la configuración, luego haces clic en la versión y eliges la que tiene 64 bits de la que tienes por defecto
