Kafka Integration with Pega 7.1 version
We have a requirement to connect Kafka from Pega 7.1 version , since there is no OOTB feature available , we planned to connect through the java function using the kafka client library. but facing connectivity issues.
Can anyone mention the configurations part that needs to be done inorder to connect kafka in pega 7.1 v.

I would recommend not spending any time on Pega 7.x as this version of Pega already in the Extended Support Model [beyond extended Support model] and officially Support ends by end of June 2023.
There are plenty of new features available in Pega Infinity Platform, including Kafka Connection to Hadoop, Confluent etc., I highly encourage Platform Upgrade.
I have worked on plenty of Kafka configurations through out various Platform versions, Infinity version is much stable now.
@SrinivasanK8671 you are no doubt aware of the status of 7.1 in Pega Extended Support program
Apache Kafka was a feature added in Pega 7.3. Please work with your account executive to update if possible.
