JSON DT and expressions
Are there known limitations between JSON data transforms and declarative expressions? In many cases expressions we have on properties that are being used in JSON data transforms are not actually firing.

Yes, there are documented limitations and behavioral nuances when using JSON Data Transforms (JSON DT) in conjunction with declarative expressions (Declare Expressions) in Pega. These can lead to scenarios where declarative expressions on properties manipulated by JSON DTs do not fire as expected
One common workaround is to create a generic activity that calls the Data Transform and then ensures that declarative expressions are evaluated. This can be done by calling the activity from the Data Transform using the pxExecuteAnActivity utility function
