Job scheduling - RPA
Dear Team,
Is there a way to schedule the jobs like when the time reaches, it should run the automation if the machine is on.
Example: It might run on every one hour without manual click.

There are several ways to do this. The simplest way os to use Task Scheduler on your computer to start your RPA process at the time you choose. It can then run and shut down when it is done. Task Scheduler is easy to use and this method means you do not need to worry about maintaining a long running solution.
Another method would be to code it internally. Create a list of tasks for your solution to perform, perhaps in a Xml file with the time they tasks should run. You solution could set a timer and wait for a period of time, then wake up and check the list of tasks and then perform any needed then go back to sleep.
Either way, you have a little work to do since there is no component to do scheduling - but not a lot of work.

If we use pause then the entire solution waits for that time.

Where should the xml be placed for the process to identify it? The runtime config xml is the file robot looks for when starting to run a process, right? if that is the case then how will be a custom xml be identified. Can you give a sample example please to clarify these doubts please?

Hi,
if you want to do customizations for Runtime config xml, do the changes and place the new runtime config file in "%appData%\OpenSpan\" folder.
Make sure you are copying the file to the right user (which ever user is going to start the runtime using Task scheduler).
