Monitoring on job schedule
Now we are using Pega 8.2.2
We are thinking about use the agent or the job schedule to do some background process.
Pega recommend the job schedule is the best way on the Pega 8.2.2.
However one concern for us is if we have any way to monitoring the job schedule if there are any exception just as the email notification on the agent.

One more option would be to use Queue Processors in 8.2.x. These are much more performant, more distributed processing (provides execution across multiple nodes), process without delay (JS can wake up every min - minimum frequency - to process items) and uses modern technology.
You can also monitor your queue processors from Admin Studio. You can get to know when your queued items are scheduled, ready to process and processed. You also get details along with exceptions for broken processes.

Hi,
There is no notification sent if there is any job scheduler failure, you have to trace to know the cause.
As above said, Queue processor is replacement for standard agent and there is notification will be sent.
