While tracing the events I found that prior to 7.2 , pega is not looking for authentication of the userID for the email server while sending email but in 7.3 its looking for the userID authentication.
But I am yet to confirm and to find the solution to this problem if someone can help on this.

I suspect this issue is different than what was originally being reported in this thread. It would probably be helpful for you to create a new post and provide the log from your environment.

The same email account is working fine in Pega 7.1.7 but not in the upgraded env Pega 7.3.

Can you attach the entire log output to this post? Seeing it all together is helpful.
Does the test connection on the sender portion of this email account work?
I know there have been issues with not providing a username or password in some versions... Can you try with a username and password to see if it still has the issue?
