Java command to retrieve a specific case
I am creating a custom activity where a user can "retrieve" property values from resolved cases to a case the user is working on at the moment.
The user can specify ANY case they want and I have already prepared a autofill to specify the pyID.
I would like to know what Java command is required to retrieve property values from that specific case to the clipboard.

Hi Taiki,
In an activity you can use objOpenByHandle to open any case with its handle ID.
Later you can extract or get any value and you can populate that to your new case useing proprty-set as required.
You may not need Java Step for that.

You wouldnt need an activity either if you use a Data Page to open the work item, simply source an update page step in a data transform to update from the parametised data page.

Hi,
Once you have the Case ID you can open using Obj-Open method, i will get all the properties in clipboard map the required property to current case.
