Is it required to remove current loaded third party jar files from Customer codeset when new version is provided by the vendor?
Hi,
I got new set of third party jar files (ecsjtapia.jar and log4j-1.2.12.jar) from the customer because of upgrade to a new version of the Server application. Is it require to remove the current jar files ecsjtapia.jar and log4j-1.2.12.jar in the Customer codeset in the Pega Customer Application application before importing the new third party jar files?

Yes if you use the OOTB Customer codeset (see the attached). But if you create your DSS, you can specify the codeset matching that of codeset name/version when you import them. For example,
You can define the setting as
properties/com.pega.pegarules.bootstrap.codeset.version.Foo/default with a value of 01-01-01 (your own version number, you can increment to 01-01-02, etc). Make sure when you import the jar you specify the name as 'Foo', version as '01-01-02' etc.
