Issue with pick country control
An Out-Of-The-Box CONTROL called “Pick-Country” has been used to display a selectable drop down list of countries.
Unfortunately after having selected a country on a first assignment, the value has been reset and the country selected isn’t appearing on the second assignment.

Which version of PRPC is this ?
As per my understanding you are selecting a country (ex: United states ) in assignment 1. Now you are submitting it, proceeding to assignment 2 and here the previously selected value "United States" is not retained and you find default value "Country...". Please correct if I am wrong.
Also please share issue screenshots if possible.

Yes the scenario you explained is exactly what is happening .we are using PRPC 7 The value is not retained also when page is saved or refreshed.Please provide some guidance on how this can be done

Which ML are you using ? I have tried in ML9 (7.1.9) and the values are retained.
After clicking on save, kindly check whether the values are posted to clipboard or not.
