Issue with exporting Excel on click of a button in Harness

Hi,

We configured a link in left menu panel of User Portal to display a list of records in the table. This table is sourced by a Data Page and is referenced in the harness rule. We configured a button in the same section as the table and added "Run Activity" action on click event. In this run activity action, required export activity is referred.

On click of this button, no file is downloaded or no pop-up is shown in UI. But when the export activity is run independently file is downloaded with all the required data.

Please suggest on how we can fix this issue.

Hi Marc,

I can see the activity in the tracer. But the excel is not getting downloaded.

Can you share the name of the activity you are using in the action-set and screenshots of the configuration? It will make easier for everyone to help you out on this.
