Importance of Queue processors for Indexing

we ran into couple of issues with Indexing in production after upgrade to 8.8.1,Are Indexing queue processors required to be enabled in production while limited access to designer studio (only for deployments),Don't need indexing for Rule- and Data-  in production and also we use custom search portal for finding the cases (not OOTB control ).  Do they have any importance in case processing especially with declare-Index etc .? Do i need to think about anything else before stopping them?

@BRAHMESH@pyFTSIncrementalIndexer takes care of the full text search indexing, that will only impact the search functionality in dev studio. pyBatchIndexProcessor takes care of batch processing data flows, so unless you're not running any of those and don't need the search functionality in dev studio, that should not be a problem.
