Import a custom data model (OOM file)
Our client would like to adopt a new data model for all the applications. Is there a way I can import the OOM file and create the structure in Pega?
Sri.

You can use BIX: https://docs-previous.pega.com/business-intelligence-exchange-bix/about-business-intelligence-exchange-bix-7x-and-earlier to extract Pega rules/data to various file formats. As for other formats in rule harvesting, it is highly unlikely. You also need to remember that it is not just about format we do not even know if Pega has the equivalent data structure to map the data elements stored in OOM. Maybe you can attach a sample OOM file in the format of XML for example. Our SME maybe able to give you the definite answer.

To clarify, oom refers to Sybase PowerDesigner Object-Oriented Model?

Yes, it is. Today the data model exists in PowerDesigner and will be extracted in OOM format and share with BPM team. Instead of typing/Creating each property we would like to import the structure as it is and create Pega data structure with classes/properties etc... Is there a way to do it?

Pretty sure we are not supporting this format OOTB - here what we do support: https://community.pega.com/sites/default/files/help_v718/procomhelpmain.htm
I do not know enough about OOM format to comment if it is possible.

Does Pega support any other data model format to import? I can ask my data arch group for a different format...
Also is there a way i can export current Pega application specific existing data model to an excel file?
