Import a CSV into a Datatype
Hi All,
I have a requirement to upload .CSV file and load the data into data table. To implement this, i creagted a Flow Action and referencing pxUploadCSVResults OOTB section. In Post-processing of Flow-action, calling an activity "MapCSVToClipboard".
In Activity, I am calling the OOTB activity @baseclass.pxUploadCSVResults to import a CSV file and passed the class name, page name and pagelist name. But I am getting following error on pyWorkPage of Clipboard.
.pyFileName: Invalid property reference123
Please find the attachment for screenshots of what i did.
Please help in resolving this error.

Hi Venkat,
Does the CSV header row contains the property identifiers in the same order of the DataTypeEditor view?

What is the Pega version you are using?
Is the activity, "MapCSVToClipboard", your customized one? What is it used for?
By looking into the OOTB flow action, 'pxUploadCSVResults', its post-processing is calling OOTB activity "pxUploadCSVResults". Why do you want to call your own "MapCSVToClipboard" instead of OOTB one?
Without looking into the tracer log, it's hard to identify the root cause of the error.
So, the best suggestion to you is to run the use case and collect the tracer log. You can look into the error part in the log. It may give the hint where the error comes from.

Hi Susan,
I am calling this activity "MapCSVToClipboard" in post-processing to call "pxUploadCSVResults" activity.
The reason is this pxUploadCSVResults activity only put the results in clipboard in the specified PagelIst as a parameter to activity.
After that, To save the records to data table, i am also using "Obj-Save" against Pagelist.

Hi All,
Thanks for responses. I got the solution for my problem.
As murali said, there was problem with Header row of my CSV file. I included a header row with labels same as property names. Now its working fine.

Hi All,
I am importing from a CSV file into Datatype, but few feilds the value is not populating and always null. Even manually adding a row, these feilds are still null. Please let me know what I can verify?
