Implementing Device Specific authentication timeout
Hi,
We have a requirement to implement authentication timeout which will be device specific i.e. a seperate timeout value when the user logs in from mobile and a seperate timeout when the user logs in from desktop but he will use the same access group. I know that we can configure the timeout in the access group but it will not be device specifc. Can someone suggest any way to acheive this.

A simple option would use 2 different access group for mobile use and desktop use and in the starting activity of the operatorID, based on the requestor device type switch to applicable access group.
As you have 2 different access groups, you will have the flexibility to set different timeouts.

Thanks for posting on PSC.
You can configure time out from prconfig.xml using below configuration:
<env name="timeout/application" value="xxx in seconds" />
If you want to set browser level timeout,
<env name="timeout/browser" value="xxx in seconds" />
I haven't implemented it, though if one could classify the application rendering in mobile device browser and using above configuration, we can have the different timeout as one at the advanced tab of "Access Group".
Please let me know if you're able to implement. Also, share the additional configuration you have made to achieve your business requirement for greater Pega community.
