An implementation class has not been specified for aspect Action
Getting this error while trying to save an existing class. Has anyone else seen this one ?

However both primary aspect and primary implementation fields are marked as reserved, so I'm reluctant to change them. Also, I couldn't find anything related to this in "com.pega.pegarules.pub.runtime.PublicAPI".

Hi @ravi9779: Can you help to understand whether you are facing this issue in a OOTB class?
If this is a application specific class and if it is not a custom rule type, i don't think there is a need for it. If this is the case, can you try to change the primary aspect to empty and save it? Also please check internally why this option is selected as Action.

@ArulDevan I present the same issue, my class is not OOTB and there is not option to leave it as blank or empty value on Primary aspect.

Hi @JuanCarrasco: Is it a class which you are creating newly? or is it an existing class?
Ideally the classes created in application by default will have this value as blank (tested in my case too). Are you seeing a different behavior?

Hi @ArulDevan,
It is a custom concrete class(Data-) that we created in past sprints, and I only want to update enabling the option "Exclude this class from search" in the class definition, but the error "JavaGenerator" appears, it is on blank the field.

@ArulDevan on what version of Pega platform you are on ? I can't set it to empty on Pega 8.6.3.
Also, creation of a class is a very basic feature in Pega platform, so this inconsistent behavior is concerning.

@JuanCarrascoMy replication steps are exactly the same. When the application wizard creates classes, works okay. Later when you try to save the application class for updating external mapping or add some history to it or a simple save to reflect newly exposed columns presents this issue.

Hi @ravi9779: Irrespective of PEGA version, you should be able to set this value to empty. tried in v7 and v8.7 and it is working fine. If this is specific to your system, i suggest raise a incident.
