Implement Message Queuing
Dear All,
I want to integrate Message queueing with Pega. Can you tell me, which message queueing suitable, robust and compatible with Pega. One that can handle at least thousands of transactions.
Brgds,
Dendi A

Hi Dendi
You can use JMS or IBM MQ messaging system for your requirement.

Can you please elaborate more about your requirements? Are you talking about messages coming into Pega for consumption or outbound messages from the Pega or both? What is your message provider? Do you have any specific requirement in terms of secure message, etc?
In general, Pega offers integration with virtually all JMS compliant message providers.

Hi Kevin Zheng,
I want to use Pega as front end application that consumpt/fire web service provided by core banking service to insert/update data/transaction.
I still explore what kind of Message Queing Software will be used to integrated in Pega and core banking web service & need more guidance & tutorial for this.

by web service, do you mean SOAP service? If that is the case, you can use Connect-SOAP from pega to call those web services. If you can elaborate the technical details of your core banking services, we may be able to suggest more concrete guidance.

Hi Mr. Kevin Zheng,
Please see the picture.
I want to replace current vendor application scheme as in picture 1 :
A -> F -> G
with Pega System (picture 2)
B -> C -> F -> G
A will be replaced with B & C, its mean : Vendor Application + His Internal Message Queing will be replaced with Pega & Message Queing Software.
We use Message Queing Software to prevent Middleware Application Server (Provide SOAP Webservice) down to handle many transaction in a time.
Pega will send/fire SOAP webservice to middleware server through Message Queing Sofware.
Any suggestion ?

So you are trying to implement SOAP over JMS if I am not mistaken. Pega does support that, most common setup would be running Websphere (which provides JMS adaptor to MQ seamlessly) with MQ as the backend message provider.
