Considering your query, I would like to know, is all the work objects belong to the same class or different?
If they belong to the same class all the work objects will be stored in the same table.
If they belong to different classes, you may run the activity with obj-save and store them in the diffrent table but you can't delete the existing table where the work objects records are been stored.

As mentioned by Naveen, if all the work objects belong to the same class, they will be stored in the same table.
However, if they belong to different classes, you could perform the below to have them stored in different tables:
1. Create a clone table of pc_work, with the appropriate names, pc_work_woa, pc_work_wob, etc
2. Run the Database Table Class Mapping wizard, and update the classes to point to the newly created tables. [OR] Update the Database Table instance [Data-Admin-DB-Table instance] for the work classes to point to the corresponding work tables.
