IE Compatibility mode not working in Pega 7.3
we know that, As part of PEGA 7, we need to uncheck 'display intranet sites in compatibility view' for IE. However , In my client location. the security team is advising that intranet sites should run with compatibility mode view.
Is there any other way to enable PEGA 7 for the users without unchecdking 'display intranet sites in compatibility view' in IE browser?
most of the clients using only IE as per their standards and my users also will have only IE 11 and no other browser installed in their desktop.
If they are disabling compatibilty mode in their IE, to access some other application they have to enable compatibilty for their intranet site again.
Is there any way that we can setup only PEGA level to enable PEGA 7 in IE 11 with out disabling the compatibility mode settings for users.?

Pega officially does not support IE 8, and compatibility from Pega 7.1.9 onwards.
Saving the pyMetaTags rule in the highest available ruleset and setting it to “<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge">” (reference) allows users to log into the PRPC when compatibility view is enabled on IE11. However, an Unsupported Browser Message is noticed on the initial login screen.
Compatibility Mode on IE 11 forces the doctype to IE 7. This is the reason why Unsupported Browser Message is seen at the time of login.
To resolve this, perform the following steps:
Turn off this message by overriding the when rule pyUnsupportedBrowsers rule in your application ruleset as explained here
Customize the HTML instance ``Web-Login`` to remove the when check (in bold):

It must be noted that pyMetaTags approach is not a foolproof solution and does not work in certain scenarios.

The tool does not list the OOTB Pega 7 harnesses as they are HTML5 compliant by default and would only list customized harnesses and other previous Pega 7.x OOTB harnesses, in case of upgrades.
Another approach is to set browser Enterprise mode. This helps resolve the compatibility issues. More about this here.
This allows the user to run all legacy applications except Pega 7 in compatibility mode.
