Icon with window title for IE tab

Hi,

I would like to know how to add our custom icon with window title for IE tabs. I know how to update window title but not sure about icon. For now we can see 'P' icon with the window title. Can you please let me know if you have an idea? Thanks.

Hi, 

This can be customized by overriding pyPortalIcon HTML Fragment to your application ruleset. This also requires creating a new Binary file of the format pzPegaIcon(.ico format).

Hello Sents.

I maked the same thing to change my icon on browser header tabs (updated html fragment).

My only problem now, it's on the login access page to Pega. My icon is not my updated, but pzPegaIcon. I looked a long time, but impossible to find it.

I tried to override pzPegaIcon but it's impossible to find it. I tried to create a new binary file, but create pz format is forbidden. (Pega 7.31, CustomerService for Insurance)

If you can tell me how fix it, it will be great.

Currently IE 11 and Edge don't seem to pick up even the OOTB pzPegaIcon.ico file.

So changing the ico file will not do much. There seems to be some issue with the way pega is storing the ico file that IE11 and Edge are refusing the accept.

 

Any thoughts?
