I can't see Configure Alternate stages

Hi Chiranjeevi

I don't see the configure alternative stages option at all in Action tab. may I know where I am going wrong. see the attached screenshot. right now I am learning pega and doing assignment 'Adding alternate stages to the case life cycle'. I can mover further from this step.

Hi Chiranjeevi, Thanks for posting on PSC. To initiate investigation, verify:- - Is there any condition configured on alternate stage entry? - Could you explain Approve/Reject shown in screenshot? - Check for routing configuration on alternate stage? Or on assignment from where it's called or invoked? I suspect, the work object may be routed to other operator/workbasket. Also, verify audit tab. Could you see any routing comment? Or anything related with work object changed stage? Share with us, screenshot of alternate stage and regular stage from where it's invoked Also, audit tab. Hope it helps you in isolating the root cause of the issue reported. Kindly notify, if it does. Regards, Asif

Hi Asif,

I don't have any idea about steps you described above to RCA. I am new to Pega and learning System Architect Essentials. Right now I am in the middle of the course. I am here at stage of course as shown in the screen shot. At this step of the course, I have to Configure the Alternate stages in the Exercise. But I couldn't see that in Pega express of exercise application. Please let me know where can I configure that as per the exercise.

Hello,

You will see these steps only when you go to the Cases.

Follow these steps below.

launch the Developer Portal >> From the Left Side, Select Cases >> Now select any case type which you already created >> Now you will see the option Configure Alternate Stages.

Sorry that option doesn't seem to exist.  We are given Pega Express not Developer Portal just for clarity.  

We go into Cases and then select the expense type we've been building and there is no Configure Alternate Stages option on any of the tabs provided

Ok issue solved.

 

Bottom lefty corner there is a double arrow symbol. This moves you from Pega Express to the full Pega Designer Studio which solves the issue
