I am going to perform inplace upgrade. As part of the downloaded file don't have setupDatabase.properties. need help
HI Team.
I am performing in-place upgraded from 7.2.2 to 8.1. As per the pega documentation i need to update setupDatabase.properties file. Please provide clarification for the below queries for the same.
a. setupDatabase.properties - is this file need to be updated in the installed 7.2.2 path or downloaded 8.1 path?
b. Didn't find the same file in the downloaded zip file extracted path (116167_PEGA_8.1). If I need to refer in the source path then let me know the exact path under extracted directory "116167_PEGA_8.1"
c. Please provide the details steps for perfoming inplace upgrade.

Thanks for the information.
The setupDatabase.properties file should be present in the 8.1 release content under the /scripts directory.
As for running the upgrade you'll need to refer to the Upgrade guide.
You can use the link below to access the documentation
https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/products/platform
Then use the drop-downs to select the Pega version, Application server and Database which is relevant to you.
