How to use case when in Report Definition

Hi
I have a requirement to have display column source in report definition as below
Count (Case When .abc="y" then 1 end)
(.abc is property here).
we have function alias of case when for condition null and not null only.
Do we need to create new function alias? if yes can i have the code for it

If I understand your requirement correctly, you may need to create a new FA. At its simplest, the source would be:
CASE
WHEN {1} = 'y' THEN 1
ELSE 0
END
If you need to account for upper or lower case, then you can incorporate the SQL LOWER() function, i.e.:
CASE
WHEN LOWER({1}) = 'y' THEN 1
ELSE 0
END
You would pass the property .abc to the function, and get the count.

I think we can't use the property reference in SQL FA defined in "Embed-UserFunction" class, directly similar to how we do in java functions.
You can define the input parameters and use {<paramNumber>} to compare in Case WHEN.
