How to upload .json file to external system using Connect Rest ?

We have a external system which works as central repository of documents. External system provides a web service which supports Rest Call. All other java applications use that web service to upload documents. We have a requirement to upload .json files to the repository by invoking service using rest call. Is it possible in PEGA ? If yes, how ?

Hi Vikash,

By uploading .json files do you mean as attachments?

I am presuming that you want to connect to the external service with REST call from PRPC. Hence you may require a Connect-REST rule to make a call to the external service from PRPC.

If you want to send the request in JSON format you can check map-from and maps-to fields on request and response tabs under 'methods' tab in connect-REST rule to map the properties while making a call.
