How Shell script can be invoked from Pega Cloud

We are currently on Pega on 8.6.2 on Prem. We are in the process of migration to Pega Cloud. We have some existing Shell scripts on the app server that we are invoking using Java code. We wanted to know how this will work when we move to Pega Cloud. Will we be able to import the script in Pega Cloud and invoke from there or we have to re-design the shell script invocation.
