How to set cell value in excel given row and column index

Hi, I am trying to set cell value in excel using row and column index. For example, cell(1,2) [row 1 and column 2] has to be populated with a value. Is there a possible way to do this rather than doing a macro. Please advise.

Jeff,

I can pass a cell name like C16 to setcellvalue method. However, as mentioned earlier I have a for loop that returns row and column index like 2 and 3 which means row 2 and column 3. I don't see a method available for excel connector that takes row and column values as parameters. Any ideas.
