If I understand your problem correctly, you want to know how to send a PDF that is attached/uploaded at runtime in your application over to docusign instead of invoking a template already stored in docusign..

I was doing a POC a while back and it seems like the default Data transform "pyPrepareNewEnvelope" has configuration to loop over case attachments and send them to docusign in step Proprietary information hidden and its child steps. I have tried using it as-is and it worked. I was able to send a pdf to docusign and get the signed pdf in return which is automatically attached to the case. You might have customized the data transform in your application to remove this logic. Try putting it back see how it goes. You can even customize that logic to loop over specific type of attachments in-case you do not need to send all of them over to docusign.

Also, can you give an overview on how to invoke docusign template via the data transform configuration as you said you were able to do so in you question?
