How to retrieve the datetime to date format 9th Nov 2018 in a report.

fetching the DateTime property from work table into a report definition and these values are being appended in a excel sheet , where we see these values in format like '20181109121230023 GMT'

but we are in need to get these values to be dispalyed in the excel as 09th Nov 2018.

Please suggest your Ideas on this ...

Thanks All for your suggestions and comments, i was able to fulfill this requirement creating a function alias to convert the datetime to required format as text.
