How to read a excel file from Cloud(Azure) via Pega Listener
Some excel file is located in the cloud (Microsoft Azure) path. Now i want to read and process these file from Pega Via File listener. Is this possible ? If not possible what is the correct way we can move this files to Pega temp directory to read it.
Note: Pega is also in cloud.

I have similar requirement in My engagement. Please post your response if you get something. So far I know listener works for relative path within system directory and Azure provides URL. Not sure if there is way to map Azure network drive to Pega cloud server.

Hi,
In Azure, you store the files in a Storage Account (File Service) I hope. If yes, each file can be accessed via the URL something similar to https://<StorageAccountName>.file.core.windows.net/<FileShareName>/MyExcelFile.xls
Once you know the location, you can process rest I hope.

The source location where the file is located should be visible to the server where the Pega 7 Platform is installed. Then only Pega Listener can read and process it. So when Pega is installed on the cloud, can it have access to the source location where the file is available ?
Do you have any idea like is there file transfer tools available to transfer the files from one server to another server in cloud ?
