how to read data input from other API submission (Json format) ?
Hi Pega expert,
I am designing UI to process work approval process.
At step 1, the UI read information input from other API (maybe Jason format)
Finally UI send feedback to API.
How to process this ?
Appendix work flow:
- Trifacta API send recipe approval email to manager. And at the same time, API send recipe information to Pega
- Once Pega get the submission information, extract the information, pull data from Trifacta
- Manager logs in Pega and check the recipe information (dashboard indicates the recipe status)
- Manger makes decision (reject or approval , also add comments)
- Pega send manager’s decision back to API and send email to submitter.
- API update the recipe status.

Hi There,
I am not exactly sure of requirement however, please find the general approach:
1. You can use a email listener to create a work. Once the email is received you can have work and route the work to the approver.
2. Have a Data Page whose source will be Rest/Soap connector. This will be responsible to get the data from your third party (Trifacta in your case).
3. Process the work (in your case approve/reject) and then send the email back using correspondence rule.
4.To send the data back to API, there may be other service available and you might have to send the data via connect soap/rest.

Thanks Ranjr! Currently the REST worked to pull data from Trifacta. The data is saved at DataPage. How to copy the data from datapage to Properties ?
For current Pega, only manual or referent opinions, there is no copy data button.

If you having data in data page you can use a Data Transform and set to respective properties.
