How to invoke Pega Rules Engine in Java (Eclipse)?
Hi,
I'm trying to Utilize the Rules Engine by invoking the PegaRules in Eclipse via Java Code? My question is how do I go about connecting Pega to Java? Is there a JAR file or something that I need? I have Pega Personal Edition if that helps.

Best way to leverage Pega is to invoke Pega API, which is a REST API.

We can start a standalone PegaRULES engine as a Java process by invoking "com.pega.pegarules.pub.PegaRULES" after setting the necessary bootstrap JARs in the JAVA CLASSPATH. A sample of this can be quickly referred if you open the runPega.sh script in the Ditstribution Image/scripts directory. You can use the same in Eclipse.
