How to interrogate HTML table in a web application, when the number of rows in a table changes for each instance of application
Hi All,
I need to interrogate a web page which has a list of hospitals. This list(number) of hospitals changes based on the ZIP code.
1.first, i enter ZIP code & hit search
2. web page opens with a list of hospitals present in that zip code
3. i have interrogated this list by using HTML Table desinger
4. the problem is, the one which i interrogated has 15 hospitals(15 rows in a table), but it chnages when i select different zip code, for example: 25 hospitals
how to work with this kind of scenarios, please let me know if any one come across this scenario.

Hi,
If you are able to correctly define data cells in HTML Table Designer, it should not matter how many rows it has. It should able to get data in any case. However, table structure must remain the same.

It has step-by-step guide on interrogating html table (Excercise 1 - Task 1). If it doesn't help, please provide screenshot of your table, screenshot of HTML Table Designer window with created schema and controls and more details on what happens then number of rows is changed.

Hi Konstantin,
After interrogation, i used match rules to match the table and Match cells but unable to match data cells using any of the match rules. PFAs of the table schema and object explorer.

It looks like not all of your matching elements are matching. If your columns headings change you can modify the match settings for them. Once you have a match for your table section your cells should match. if a column heading is not always there - I would start be setting it to be optional.
