In Constellation UI, you can implement automatic numbering for a field in a list by using the pxIndex property that Pega provides for repeating lists (Page Lists or Page Groups). When you configure a table view (like a data view or repeating dynamic layout), you can add a new column for numbering and bind it to a calculated property or directly use @index + 1 in the expression, where @index gives the zero-based position of the current row. This ensures that the numbers will start at 1 and increment automatically as per the list size. This works well whether your list has 5, 15, or more rows, and updates automatically as items are added or removed.
