How to highlight the updated fields ?
Hi Everyone,
I have a requirement where we have 2 roles (User and Manager). We are working on existing cases.
When ever a USER opens the case and modify some fields and submit it to MANAGER for manager those modified fields need to be highlighted in YELLOW color. I used pxComparePages to find out what are all modified.
We have huge number of fields over there.
Can someone help me on this.

Hi @Ramprasadk2794: PEGA don't have this feature OOTB. You may need to create your custom code. Option available OOTB is to use field level auditing. Please see this regarding field level auditing.

1. Field level auditing will help you determine value changes
2. If the field changes are in embedded pages then pxComparePages is the right approach, post determining the fields that were changed. Here are few approaches -
- Create another field, have a visible condition to determine it was changed, ensure to add suitable CSS in Presentation tab of that field. This however is a very crude solution, having maintenance issues
- Combination of JS, and CSS need to be leveraged to solution.
- The best solution is to present the fields changed in a tabular format to review, as opposed to several fields highlighted on screen, as OOTB Pega already provides Audit to capture changes where they get additional benefit of previous value and next value. This is safer, scalable..
