How to get the value of a clipboard propery in java script
I am using a java script function and i want to get the value of a clipboard property in the funciton. if i use <pega:reference> or JSP tags the value is taken when the script is loaded. But how to get the update value if the property changes.

The answer to your question depends upon whether or not the DOM is immediately refreshed if the value changes. The value might change by a direct user action in the UI (in which case the DOM has the value), or it might change because you've run an activity on the server and the new value is on the clipboard and it has not yet been refreshed in the UI. In the latter case, do you want the UI to refresh, or do you not care?

Several choices here:
1) Have a "refresh" button that user clicks when they want.
2) Use a timer so you do an auto-refresh every so often
3) Do an asynch ajax to the server, and the server responds when the property changes, and then you do the refresh.
