How to generate an excel file from a repeating grid constructed by Data Page
Hi,
I know how to generate an excel file from a repeating grid constructed by Report Definition - fire "Rule-Obj-Report-Definition.pzViewExportToExcel " from button using Open URL in Window. This works completely fine with Report Definition but I want to do the same with Data Page (using activity). What is the easiest / simplest approach? Any out-of-the-box activity which does that?

Thanks, but this approach is CSV, not excel. Is it possible to modify this so:
1. The extension of this file is ".xlsx" instead of ".csv"
2. The file has border and header is colored as gray
Basically we want this file to be not ASCII csv file but Microsoft excel file just like Export To Excel function in report browser.

pxConvertResultsToCSV activity is the final rule, due to which it is not possible to change it to construct excel file. If your requirement is strictly towards the excel file format and it needs to be generated automatically then this rule wont help you to achieve it.

The last one in particular shows a worked example of turning a Data Page into an Excel file (and PDF).
(Although I just checked: it actually does the DataPage->Excel by sourcing a REPORT from a DataPage - you might be able to do the same thing..)
