How to extract data from Blob column in Pega.
Hi, We need to extract data of Unexposed properties existing in Blob column. would like to know, is there any property that hold's data of the particular case of pzpvstream column. Kindly share your thoughts. Regards, Surya

Yes, we are using extract rules. . trying to add pzpvstream in the definition tab. Not able to find that property.
I've added class, with in that class. I would like to include the property of the Blob column (pzpvstream). Am I flowing correct approach. . Pls suggest

Oh no, I don't think you will be able to add pzpvstream entirely. Can you just try to specify properties, to get the needed values.

Hi Surya,
You can try to run the below SQL from the query runner will give the value from the blob.
select pegadata.pr_read_from_stream('<PropertyName>', pzInsKey, pzPVStream) AS <ColumnName> from <TableName>
below is the example Query.
select pegadata.pr_read_from_stream('.ProjectDescription', pzInsKey, pzPVStream) AS descr from pegadata.pc_jms_pm_work where pyid='P-3890'
**Make sure to put where clause else may cause performance issue
