How does scheduled reports work ?

I need some information on report scheduling.

1. Where are the report scheduling configuration data stored ?

2. How does it gets processed at the scheduled time ? (any agent picking them up, if yes what is generating the queue item)

1. Reporting scheduling configurations are stored as instances of 'Pega-ScheduledTask-Reporting' class

2. They are processed by the agent. Agent Pega-RulesEngine /ScheduledTaskProcessor , processes the queue items for scheduled reports. Whenever you subscribe for a report a queue item is created for the agent processing.
